Teacher's Lounge

As a new school year approaches, so do the questions, excitement, and challenges that come with it. Whether you're leading a program, supporting a team, or preparing your classroom, we'd love to have you join us for an informal conversation with fellow early childhood professionals.

This month's Teacher's Lounge will focus on preparing for a strong start to the school year, including topics such as:

• Preparing classrooms and learning environments

• Supporting teachers and building strong teams

• Establishing routines and daily rhythms

• Creating developmentally appropriate experiences from day one

• Planning curriculum while remaining responsive to children's interests

• Navigating common back-to-school challenges

While these topics will guide our conversation, this isn't a formal presentation with a rigid agenda. One of the greatest strengths of the Teacher's Lounge is that the discussion naturally evolves based on the questions, experiences, and ideas that participants bring. Come with a challenge you're facing, a question you've been thinking about, or simply join us to listen, collaborate, and learn from one another.

This event also kicks off our Back-to-School Support Series, where we'll continue supporting one another throughout the start of the school year.

July | Prepare with Confidence

Planning, classroom environments, routines, curriculum, and team preparation before children arrive.

August | Start Strong

Building relationships with children and families, supporting transitions, strengthening routines, observing children, and responding to those important first weeks together.

September | Reflect, Refine & Troubleshoot

Working through real classroom and leadership challenges, sharing what's working, and collaboratively problem-solving together.
